With the very first Shampan restaurant started up in Chatterton Village, the Bromley location has a very special place in our hearts. It bears a legacy to the very core of how the public took to Shampan and the food and service it had to offer.
Cosy and with an ambience that is at once warm and intimate, the restaurant boasts the kind of unfussy Indian food that has always been a magnet for locals and those beyond. Hardly surprising that we have guests who swear they would never eat anywhere else!
We keep our menus deceptively simple, yet the dishes are full of flavour and freshly rendered. From traditional items you have so come to love from the Indian repertoire to our house creations, we have won a strong following amongst those who are both new to cooking from the subcontinent and those well-versed, spice connoisseurs.

Nestling just outside of the lovely town of Westerham, our Spinning Wheel restaurant is the kind of establishment the very term “destination restaurant” was invented for. Yet, it’s more than just a restaurant, where you can while away the hours chatting to your friends over divinely made cocktails in our comforting lounge, refined Indian cooking and interiors that bring a certain “wow” factor with dining spread across luxurious and airy rooms.
The Caraway Room and Tamarind Room, our main dining rooms, are a delight for customers in which to enjoy their dining amidst bright and vivacious surroundings and beautiful, Italian designed furnishings along with lattice screens that offer a modicum of privacy. A vibrant and cheerful atmosphere is provided by the Tamarind Room, often used by groups and parties, making for a spirited time for all!
